After reading this book for millionth time I think I may be ready to die from the excitement of reading the second book, I recommend this book to anyone who loves a good story with passion, danger and hope.
Zacharel is a warrior angel who is incapable of feeling human emotion, or should be. He was doing remarkably well at being impassive until Annabelle Miller, a beautiful woman he comes across in a mental asylum rocks his once well balanced life.
As his desire for her builds so does the amount of danger she's in. Annabelle is no ordinary crazy young woman, unbeknown to herself, Annabelle is now a consort to a very powerful demon who murdered her parents which is also the reason she was placed into the asylum in the first place. No one believed her when she said that a terrifying monster killed her parents and almost her, so instead she was deemed insane and blamed for the murder of her parents.
But this demon is not the only obstacle in the way of their possible happiness, Zacharel has a black mark upon his chest that grows, which means his death is near. Can Annabelle find a way to save him or will she lose everything she has left?
If you love sexy brooding angels and fiery women who won't give up then you definitely should read this book!
